What are Readymade Readers?
Readymade Readers are simply generic "one-size-fits-all" magnifying lenses which can be purchased off the shelf. The prescription is the same in both lenses, and the location of the optical center of the lenses is not customized for each wearer.
The use of "Ready Readers" for very short periods are acceptable, as short periods of use can hardly cause harm.
It is however still recommended to use reading spectacles that are made to your exact needs which will give you the most comfortable vision when reading or working for longer periods at your desk or on your computer.
